Today’s TMP Basketball stands tall on the shoulders of its alumni. Our success is a direct reflection of theirs. We are always grateful when they come back and help develop the young TMP players.
Our history is rich in helping players make it to the next level. Since 1996 we have helped these young men attain their dreams and we continue to help the next generation reach theirs. TMP remains one of Charleston’s premier AAU basketball programs because of their commitment to recruit and develop local area players. These alumni are proof of that. TMP Strong.
The u17 girls made it to the championship game of PSBMayDay Challenge by defeating Pistols Diamond 58-19 in the first round. They went on to defeat the Georgia Red Storm 40-31 in the semi-final. They lost a tough fought battle in the championship game to the Georgia Red Storm 59-51. We are proud of how well they played in the national exposure event.
The TMP girls played tonight at Peach State Hoops May Day Challenge and beat EOTO (Each one teach one) with a score 61-43. This was probably the best defensive game of the season. It was close at the half but the girls pulled away with their defense and transition game. Four players were in double figures (Sham, Jailah, Angel, and McKenzie). Their next game is at 12:00 tomorrow (5/7) against the Georgia Pistols.
